The east facing exterior and interior staircases and translucent glass balconies create a layer of screening to the program elements of the interior such as kitchen/dining on the main level and private bedrooms on the upper level. The living room is the heart and center of the composition occupying a two story volume positioned to the southeast while the master suite volume at the northwest edge creates a covered outdoor space off the media room at the main level. This underbelly also contains an outdoor fireplace fusing the interior with the exterior
This "L" shaped design is clad in cedar siding, Galvanized aluminum siding , concrete block and Milgard windows allowing a play of opaque and transparent transitions to the outside.
