Hoyt Street Property's proposed new luxury high-rise condominium will break
ground in summer of 2005 featuring 125 residential units, 24,000sf of ground
floor retail, 24,000sf of boutique office and 225 parking spaces. The design
responding to its prominent location by its unusual massing of a collection
of smaller buildings in contrast to the usual condo Portland block. The
interior unit layouts were developed before the exterior form took place
thus creating a perfect fusion of an inside-out urban living architecture
exploring how light enters each volume resulting in a clear hierarchy of
solid and void.
