Located on the southwest ninth floor corner of Hoyt Streets Park Place
tower, this urban residence opens up the otherwise traditional layouts of
multiple walls with a vibrant use of spaciousness and connectivity to the
nearby park. The design elements are composed as separate vignettes creating
a symphony of carefully crafted pieces of functional sculpture. The dining
room canopy and master bedroom compositions creates space-defining planes
supplying both up and down illumination. The palette of Jatoba and Wenge
wood, translucent glass, white French limestone and travertine give a sense
of permanence and texture to the otherwise simple composition of the
interlocking forms. As part of the overall effect is the furniture and rugs
are all designed to fit seamlessly with the built-in pieces.
