These drawings were made in Italy over a twelve week period while on Scholarship exploring the work of deceased Italian Master, Carlo Scarpa. Over ninety drawings and paintings were made onsite during the travel highlighed by Scarpa’s Castlevecclio Museum and Brion Vega Cemetery in S. Vito. The experience has had a direct influence on the way materials are approached. and spaces are made in my own work.
